Stafford executive says system’s guaranteed cost savings, coupled with its minimal environmental impact and guest-satisfaction capabilities, cinched decision
Energy Eye™ is proving itself to be a viable solution in the hospitality energy-management field. Recently Stafford Hospitality, a Tifton, Ga.-based hotel-management and ownership company, selected the new Energy Eye™ Wireless Radio Frequency EMS over the systems of Onity, INNCOM International, Lodging Technology and Smart Systems, as the first such system to be installed in its hotels.
Stafford Hospitality owns and/or manages eight mid-market hotels in the Southeast and Midwest. The company has installed 190 guestrooms at the Holiday Inn Tifton and will install another 171 rooms over the next two months. “We will be installing the Energy Eye™ system throughout our owned properties,” said Susan Smith, Stafford Hospitality’s Controller. “Managed properties will be advised of savings potential and decisions made at each property’s management level.”
Given the projected energy savings for the Holiday Inn Tifton, chances are excellent that Stafford Hospitality’s managed properties will make the same decision Stafford executives did for their corporately owned hotels.
